Paris, again ....

This time, in June 2014, with my son - to share with him my love of all things French while he is still a boy.

There is nothing more thrilling than wandering the streets of Paris, camera in tow, and discovering beauty around every corner! Here we are, not too long after checking into our tiny, terraced apartment in the 3rd arr., wandering the streets at sunset.

Sadly, no photographs were allowed inside the exhibit. The silver lining was that I spent quite a bit of time in front of my favorite paintings, sketching and taking notes. It was a unforgettable experience and pictures do not do justice to the paintings, especially "Mending the Sail" by Sorolla.

Breakfast after my overnight flight - Chocolat Chaud and an Apricot Danish.  What a gorgeous cafe, just look at the chandeliers!
